Community - 2008

2008 United Way Day of Caring

For the 2008 project, Neosource again closed its doors and sent all its employees (plus 1 extra family volunteer!) to seal cracks and apply exterior sealer to a log cabin located at the 30,000 acre Zink Ranch. This cabin and adjoining covered pavilion, just north of Sand Springs, is used by wranglers and other staff for training the Girl Scouts in the art and safety of horse back riding.

The Girl Scout program, under the direction of CEO Karen Morgan and Executive Assistant Gale Clark, has provided numerous activities for over 10,000 Girl Scouts. Easy going, Scott Walker, directed our activities for this project and was instrumental in coordinating entry to this secured area, providing project instructions and a terrific lunch.

Our crew had a great time cleaning, sealing up large cracks, removing loose sealant and applying new sealant to the entire exterior surface of this cabin. There was a great camaraderie among all our different personalities, and a temporary escape from a heavy work schedule. It's quite a great group that can get a lot accomplished.

It continues to be a privilege and an emotional inspiration to help our Tulsa area community. Neosource is pleased for the opportunity to give back to a community that has provided so much to us.

Neosource especially recognizes the anniversary of September 11, 2001 and encourages all of us to use our many blessings, skills and gifts to support our community. We also recognize the Bank of Oklahoma for providing Loaned Executives from their workforce.

Neosource 1st Annual Golf Tournament

We want to thank the 18 companies and 70 players who made this first tournament a resounding success. It was a beautiful day for the fun loving golfers who no doubt maintained the most accurate accounting of all golf swings.

A great lunch followed with cash and gift prizes. Besides all the great camaraderie, the great participation allowed an additional contribution to the United Way, over and above Neosources' annual pledge. A very special thanks to our organizers, Jeremy, Rodney and Keith, for making this such a success. See you next year!!

NEWS RELEASE - Tulsa Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Issues Arrest Warrant for Neosource Partner Tim Clement

Tim was ‘handcuffed' by a Tulsa Firefighter and whisked off to Carrabba's Italian Grill on 71 st Street, which kindly provided their facilities for incarcerating these ‘dangerous' Tulsa area businessmen.

Tim feverishly worked the phones, seeking bail money from any acquaintance that would donate to his freedom. With much fanfare, Tim raised a respectable bond and was released from MDA custody.

Neosource thanks MDA for all their great works!
