Community

Neosource, Inc. strongly supports the local community and is pleased the following agencies provide us the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to us. We encourage supporting these agencies that so strongly impact our society by improving the life for all of us.

DHS Christmas for Kids

Envisioning the joy of a child opening a present Christmas Day is something all of us can appreciate. Neosource was again eager to participate in sponsoring 12 children, and our folks also had a company toy drive. Thank you DHS for all your hard behind the scenes work for the programs of “Sponsor a Child”, “Cash/Check Donations” to TAPC and for the “Toy Drive”.

Last year 1490 children newborn to 18 in OKDHS custody in Tulsa County had their Christmas wishes fulfilled.

The large gift room photos are a combination from area donors, with a special acknowledgement to Venture Properties for making this large facility available.

The John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation Dinner
(11/20/2014)

Neosource was proud to support The John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation and attend the fifth annual Dinner of Reconciliation November 20, 2014 at the Greenwood Cultural Center.

Former Tulsa Carmen Fields was the featured speaker at this year's dinner. Fields' is an award-winning, nationally-known journalist and nationally-regarded media relations professional with strong ties to the print and broadcast industry in the U.S. and internationally. She holds a bachelor's degree from Lincoln University and a master's degree from Boston University.

Ms. Fields is the daughter of bandleader Ernie Fields, whose orchestra the Royal Entertainers was the first African American act to play Cain's Ballroom.

More information about the Center for Reconciliation, and the opportunity for online contributions can be found at www.jhfcenter.org. For the Tulsa World article, click here.

United Way Day of Caring
September 5th, 2014

(9/5/2014)

For the 11th year in a row Neosource closed their doors to participate in the United Way Day of Caring. This year we worked painting and staining 300 ft of railing at the Girl Scout Lodge at Tall Chief on the John Zink Ranch.

We also built 8 wooden benches to be used at the ranch.

Some of the crew arrived on site at Zink Ranch at 6am to get started before the heat and humidity set in. (See the sunrise picture in the slideshow below)

We were honored to do our part in helping to maintain and preserve this worthwhile facility that makes a difference in so many lives.

TASM's Aviator Ball was a Soaring Success!
(6/11/2014)

Neosource was pleased to be a sponsor at the April 26th Tulsa Air and Space Museum's Aviator Ball, where it was held for the first time at the Museum rather than off-site. Tours of planes including the MD80 were memorable, as was the super, super windy day.

The exhibits and murals were lit to give guests a high tech feeling while looking at vintage aircraft and historical depictions. Hundreds donned their black ties and dresses and came out to support TASM's mission; "Preserving Oklahoma's Aerospace Heritage To Inspire Science-Based Learning Through Discovery."

Tables were set and adorned with vintage aircraft models and pint sized versions of Tulsa's own Driller. Aviator Ball 2014 celebrated the tight relationships between Oklahoma's oil barons and the beginning of its aviation history.

The evening began with an incredible array of unique aircraft fly overs. The planes then joined a static display of more amazing flying machines flown by local pilots!
